Remote access

Use your computer from any device

TL;DR

An SSH client gives you a shell on your other machine. Pane gives you the machine itself: its terminals, files, git branches, dev servers and coding agents, from any desktop or your phone. It's free and open source (AGPL-3.0), and runs on macOS, Windows and Linux.

Your work lives on one machine: a Mac mini, a home server, a Windows desktop or a cloud box. These pages show how to use it from wherever you are, and how Pane compares with the SSH clients and remote desktop tools you might already use. New here? Start with the setup guide.
